Lantern-making

Learn how to use willow to build your own pyramid lantern to take home. You can keep it plain white or decorate it with colour and silhouette - a delightfully accessible activity which can be made as ambitious as you wish - unleash your creativity!

Take it home and fill it with your own LED lights to see it shine! Display it in your house or garden or give to a friend.

Suitable for all ages (under 12s accompanied)

Make a traditional Christmas wreath

Create something special for your home or as a gift this Christmas. Come and join Kris from “Flowers by Kris” for a relaxed time of fun and creativity.

Decorate your own traditional Christmas wreath with seasonal foliage and accessories in a friendly atmosphere of calm amidst the Christmas bustle.

This workshop is suitable for adults only.

Animal tile painting for families

11.00am - 12.00pm - Sat 26th Nov 2022

The workshop is a delightfully accessible introduction to mark making - suitable for all ages and all levels of artist.

Participants will explore with the medium of ink and will use inspirational prompts to paint an animal on a tile using just a brush and black Indian ink. They will be able to take their tile home.

This will be a small group for a focussed experience.

This workshop is led by Catriona Dooley who runs The Art Bug Club - Afterschool art classes for children in Marston, Oxford.
