Too Lilyish - original ceramics
Hi I'm Lily, an illustrator/ceramicist & yoga teacher living in Oxford.
My work is fun, playful with a quirky charm. All illustrations are created from hand textured paper cut-outs, and my ceramics are hand build and decorated using slips/ underglazes. I love blurring the lines between the two disciplines, and the mindful quality of drawing on clay.

Shotover Park Honey
Honey from a small apiary in the ‘old orchard’ on the Shotover Park Estate near Wheatley. A few of the ancient fruit trees still stand in the orchard, but this area is now largely managed as a wildflower meadow, providing copious forage for the bees. The bees also benefit from the Estate’s large number and variety of nectar bearing trees. Honey is harvested following the ‘nectar flows’ at the end of spring and summer, with taste and colour varying by season and year. Extracted honey is strained to remove any large pieces of wax or hive debris, whilst retaining pollen and propolis (plant gums), both of which contribute to the flavour and fragrance of the honey.
